boy in the big city

Woke up in the morning (almost noon actually), ate bread with nutella that i bought. Was quite nice as it was chocolate, who can resist rite :) . Dun have juice or milk so drank water instead. Called Carmen up asked if she could bring me to building 3C for registration. Went there, found out that registration was at building 60 instead which is the original place written on the paper. Not sure if i read wrongly or sumhow i got sum imagination. Once reach there, Carmen went off to the post office while i continue for my registration. I was late but was able to settle very fast. Filled up sum forms, did the online enrolment, got a new ID card and here comes the international student club. Approached me was a Malaysian guy and a Japanese gal. They asked if i ever heard of the international student club and i replied, “not really la”. Then i got this sudden reply from the Japanese gal asking if i was from Malaysia. I was quite surprise that she knew then she explained because of the “la” that i used. I was like “shoot!!!”... haha. So the gal went off and the guy explained to me about the club and all. Then i was passed to another guy that explained about the current activity that they are having which is the winter swoop where you supposed to run around the campus, something like treasure hunt, in the cold. Seriously not my type of game especially during this cold weather. But i did register for updates in the future. Then i went on to the insurance counter where the lady explained about applying for the insurance card. Went on another counter where they were promoting about the visit to Williamstown. The visit begins with a Yarra River cruise where you will be taken to Williamstown then by coach to enjoy and discover the Queen Victoria Market and Melbourne Museum. The day ends with a famous bush dance and dinner at Caulfield campus. I did attract my attention but found out that i can actually go to those places myself with not much of a planning. I rejected the offer. Then i asked one of those on duty if they could bring me to the engineering faculty registration. Meet this gal called Grace Tan, second year student in mechanical. Walked along those corners that i dun even know where was i while talking to her. Enjoyed talking to her and she gave me her name card :) . Went into the place and to my surprise, saw Auntie Pearly. Was my first time seeing her in person and she could recognize me by my name i think. Talked for a while. Then went on to subject enrolment. Waited quite long for the coordinator so went off to apply for bank account and mobile line. Queue in the bank was superb long and to register for an account takes equal amount of time. So sien. After finish applying, went to register for mobile line at the 3 mobile shop. The gal working there is called Natalie and the guys used to “hunt” for her ... haha. While registering, she was talking on the phone to her colleague. To my surprise, she was speaking in mandarin. Crazy ... and i tot she was an Australian so i went on asking where was she from. The most unexpected answer was she said she was from Malaysia but stayed in Australia for the past 5 years and currently in 2nd year of business and finance. Talked and joked a bit then Carmen and i went back to our room where i prepared to meet up with rui chiang, junda and Kelly to have dinner in the city. Was all prepared and took a nap while waiting for yoong ming to call. Met up with yoong ming, ying hoe and peter at the Richardson courtyard and walked to the bus loop. Met up with Marcus and yee ming there and took a bus to Huntingdale station. This is my first time to city so i will talk more on this ... hehe. From Huntingdale station, we took a train to the city where it stopped at Flinders station. From there, we walked to the Chinatown, went to a Chinese restaurant where we supposed to meet up with the rest there. Not long later, they came. Talked throughout dinner and took pictures. After dinner, separated from Kelly and the rest went to Junda place for drinking session. Hang out till around 12 and we headed home. By the time we reach the bus loop, it was raining like cats and dogs. So called roshan if he could pick us up. Reached Richardson car park and i walked back to my room. Went online, talked to sister and downloaded the necessary documents for me to redo my report.
