Improvement

Some people say,
"It is better not to praise a child too much,
or else they will grow being arrogant
and will not listen to others in the future"

Some even say,
"Praise is a good motivation for a child's effort.
No appreciation made lead them to further stress"

As for me,
appreciation one's hard work is crucial
as it will drive them to doing something better
or, probably, improve themselves.
Sentences like
"you could have done better" or "i'm expecting better"
is very demotivating.
Even words like
"okay" or "fine"
somehow doesn't have the "kick" to motivate one to continue what they are doing.
They should use, at least, words like
"that's nice" or "good job".
It sounds so much better
or maybe the person listening to it doesn't feel so bad
and, kind of, "motivating", don't you think ?
