G-U-I-L-T

guilt - the fact or state of having committed an offense, crime, violation, or wrong, esp. against moral or penal law; culpability (quoted from dictionary.com)

sometimes, you just want to give opinion to someone thinking that what they are doing or about to do is wrong or probably just not good enough. In addition, you hope they will listen and follow to your advise as what you think may be the best choice for them. is that always the case? is it always that you can see the whole picture clearer and better than the person going through the situation themselves? what makes you think that your choices are the best of all options? and what makes you think that your choice is for their sake? or could all these be a general thing like what some people might say "common sense"? it is like in these particular situation, your option would be these and in that particular situation, your option would be that.

finally, what if they did exactly what you told them to do BUT it did not turn out what you have predicted. how are you going to feel or maybe be thinking?

"its just an opinion NOT an instruction so he / she has to bare the consequences"
"thats probably what i would but that doesn't mean it can be applied to yours"
"its just a general statement. you do not have to follow"

or probably you will feel guilty as you may have created more problems / issues to the other party due to your "smart" act
