on the 5th july, our destination of the day was to port author which used to be a prison. located about 2 hours drive from the town of hobalt. other that prison itself, there are 2 island neaby called the isle of the dead and point pier boys prison. sound scary ??? even our own kuala lumpur pudu jail i never been before. now i actually visiting a prison in some foreign country which i got no background knowledge about anything. we were following a large group of people guided by a tour guide explaining about the history but it was too boring so we ditched them and walked around ourselves. hehe .... anyway to visit the isle of the dead which practically a graveyard and point pier boys prison have to pay extra so we didnt go. instead we just took a short tour cruise around the area. enough about the place. u know wat ??? other than those normal tour around the place, there is another special tour called the ghost tour. apparently, you can see "lights", "figures" and hear "noise" around the place at nite since no many prisoners, also known as convicts, died there. WTH !!!! like that oso nice. seriously i think they ran out of ideas. tsk tsk ......
