my story from Malaysia: Tasmania trip Day #1

its 3 am now and i cant sleep so decided to update about my tasmania trip. need to do it eventually might as well do it now. >.<

anyway, on the 2nd of july, went to the city for dinner with Cheng Loke and Yow Siong at Hungry Jack. later met up with Yow Siong friends, Elaine and Huey Teng. then took a tram to melbourne harbour where we going to take a "cruise" to tasmania. the "cruise" was .... ok. it takes approximately 10 hours to get to tasmania and the journey was rather "suffering". we didnt book a cabin/room. instead we got ourselves a very comfortable chair each which located directly above the ship engine. you can imagine how terrible is the vibration plus together with the sea wave. felt as tho being in a washing machine. so when we reached davenport harbour, got off the boat,went to the luggage pick-up area and was so freaking cold. rented ourselves a car, hyundai elantra. first destination was Mcdonald. wow !!!!! of all places but everyone was hungry and that is the first thing that we saw so yeah .... after breakfast, we started our visiting to the first and original COLES. was expecting sumthing very special but it look rather old and no maintenance. since its a grocery store and u know wat we bought: water .... wow !!!! interesting !!! *clap hand* next we went to king solomon caves. quite a short tour and got to see those "cave stuff". nothing REALLY special but rather fun. :) ... on our way back to davenport town, we came across a place called tasmazia so we stopped by since it looked interesting. sth like a small park with mazes and "small" city.

our cruise: spirit of tasmania
